The City of Roosevelt Park is seeking a proactive, career-oriented Police Cadet to work and learn in a community oriented problem-solving environment. The City is looking to host and employ its first ever Michigan police academy cadet with the goal of helping the next generation of law enforcement officers enter the profession. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF NORTON SHORES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of four public hearings to be held by the Norton Shores Planning Commission Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 5:30 P.M. in the Community Room, Norton Shores Library, 705 Seminole Road, for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the following requests:
1. Cassandra Wilson, with property owner permission, is requesting a Special Use Permit for a day care facility at 4650 Rood Road.
2. Equipment Share is requesting a Special Use Permit for a new branch location at 3455 Tanglewood Drive.
3. MKE Custom Machining LLC, with property owner permission, is requesting a Special Use Permit to move their business into a tenant space at 5905 Grand Haven Road.
4. Stillwater Capital, acting as an agent of the property owner, is requesting a Special Use Permit to have R-4 Sin-gle Family Residential usage in the R-5 Single Family Residential zoning district for the parcels located at 6426, 6448, 6456, 6462, 6514, 6528, 6544, 6562, and 6580 Henry Street and 770 W. Pontaluna Road.

NOTICE OF ORDINANCE ADOPTION
CITY OF NORTON SHORES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Norton Shores City Council, at its regularly scheduled meeting of March 15, 2022, adopted the following amendment:
Ordinance #833 - Amending Chapter 2, Sec. 2-237 of the Personnel Ordinance (Prohibition of employment of relatives) to allow relatives of any elective or appointed official or employee to serve on the City’s commissions and boards. However, the amendment prohibits relatives from serving on the same commission or board.
The ordinance is available in its entirety at the City Clerk’s Office, 4814 Henry Street, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
