A free seminar was held at WMU-Cooley to educate legal professionals, law students, and others on the state of Michigan's expungement process. Panelists included (l-r) Paul Basore, president of the Great Lakes Expungement Network, in Lansing; Marisa Vinsky, an attorney with Chartier & Nyamfukudza, P.L.C., in Okemos; and Paul Tylenda (CJ Adams Class, 2008), an attorney with Tylenda Law, in Grosse Pointe Farms. Participants heard about changes in Michigan law; practical tips on working with the Attorney General's Office, county prosecutors' offices, and clients; and were given access to forms and checklists.
