Attorney Ryan J. Riehl joins Bodman's Ann Arbor office

Attorney Ryan J. Riehl has joined Bodman PLC as a member in the Ann Arbor office. 

Riehl, who joins the Tax and Business practice groups, focuses his practice on federal and state tax matters for publicly traded companies, closely held businesses, real estate developers, oil and gas producers, financial institutions, investors, manufacturers, distributors, inventors, and individuals.

His expertise encompasses a broad range of issues, including partnership taxation, like-kind exchanges and other real estate tax matters, taxation of oil and gas properties, tax planning in connection with business acquisitions, dispositions and reorganizations, private equity transactions, New Markets, Historic, Solar, Wind and other Tax Credit financing transactions, R&D tax credits, and both inbound and outbound U.S. international tax issues.

Previously, Riehl was a shareholder with another large Michigan-based business law firm. 

A summa cum laude graduate of Wayne State University Law School, from which he also holds both J.D. and LL.M. degrees, he  earned his undergra degree, with honors, from Michigan State University
