CPCAN (Council for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect) held its annual Pinwheel event on a snowy April 18, planting pinwheels in Greenwood Park to raise awareness during Child Abuse Prevention Month. Guest speakers included Mayor Daniel Mahoney, Judge Richard LaFlamme, Jackson County MDHHS Director Zoe Lyons, CPCAN director Staci Blalock, and Emily Schuster-Waschberger, Children’s Trust Fund, Lansing.
