Eleven participating museums will be open to the public, free of charge, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, for Jackson County Free Museum Day.
Some will host an “open-house style” reception and self-guided tours while others are hosting child-friendly activities, historical demonstrations and providing guided tours.
Participants include:
Cambridge Junction Historic State Park and Walker Tavern, Ella Sharp Museum, Conklin Reed Organ Museum & Heritage Park, Lost Railway Museum, The Mann House, Tompkins Historical Stewart Museum, Waterloo Farm Museum and Dewey School Museum, Ye Old Carriage Shop Auto Museum, Michigan's Military Heritage Museum, Coe House Museum & Grass Lake Area Historical Connection, and First Universalist Church.
