Michigan Civil Rights Commission schedules meeting May 23 in Lansing

The Michigan Civil Rights Commission will hold a regular business meeting in Lansing, Michigan on Monday, May 23, 2022, at 10 A.M.

The meeting will be held both virtually and in person at the Lansing Community College West Campus, rooms M-120 and M-121.

The commission is scheduled to discuss and vote on a resolution regarding voting rights. The full meeting agenda was posted Tuesday on the Michigan Department of Civil Rights website at michigan.gov/MDCR.

The meeting will include a public comment period. Individuals attending virtually who wish to provide public comment must attend using the ZOOM platform or join by phone.

The meeting will be livestreamed on MDCR’s Facebook page.

The Michigan Civil Rights Commission was created by the Michigan Constitution to safeguard constitutional and legal guarantees against discrimination.
