Zines: Telling Your Story is set for June 21
Hackley Library will host Zines: Telling Your Story-What is a Zine, 5 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 21.
What in the world is a ZINE? If you have ever asked yourself this question, join this event June 21and learn the interesting history of zines, how to make them, and what you can do with them once you’ve created one. Writers, artists, photographers, poets, anyone can make a zine! The library will supply the tools.

Celebrate Juneteenth on Sunday
Join the Muskegon Area District Library at the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Community Celebration at Mona Lake Park. Fireworks, food trucks, live bands, bounce houses, and neighbors make this family-friendly event one you won’t want to miss!
The celebration is set 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, June 19.

WMS to host Fantastic Finale on June 24
The West Michigan Symphony will host conductor Scott Speck and principal violist Arturo Ziraldo in a fantastic season finale featuring in one of the great concertos.
Rounding off the concert will be two colorful works straight from the movies—the Dukas from Fantasia, and the Berlioz as heard in The Shining and The Exorcist; as well as
Dukas: The Sorcerer’s Apprentice; Bax: Phantasy for Viola and Orchestra, GP 235; and Berlioz: Symphonie fantastique
The concert starts at 7:30 p.m., at the Frauenthal Theater.
Tickets start at $19; students: $10.
