Attorney organizes ‘Escape to Belle Isle’ race for July 16

The Kitch firm is proud to support “Escape to Belle Isle” on Saturday, July 16, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Organized by Kitch attorney Jenna Wright Greenman, “Escape to Belle Isle” is a race benefitting the Ronald McDonald House of Detroit. Every event registration and every dollar raised helps Ronald McDonald House Charities Detroit provide a home away from home for families while their child is hospitalized. Donations and proceeds will help in funding the new housing and rooms for the House, and all services provided to families that use the Ronald McDonald House in times of need.

The event consists of a 2 mile, 5K, 10K, and kid’s fun run, as well as a virtual option this year. Participants will receive medals and a free t-shirt.

Fees for the event are $50 for 5K/10K, $40 for 2 mile, $28 for kids fun run, and $20 for virtual option.  Shirt and Number pick up will take place from 6:30 to 8 a.m. at the Belle Isle Casino, next to Race Start on July 16.

“OMC has been dedicated to providing quality mediation training for over 31 years,” said Charity Burke, OMC executive director. “Our training is designed to give participants, from all backgrounds, skills they can use immediately to serve and make a lasting impact on our community.”

The training will be held online July 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22 2022 from 1 to 5 p.m. each day via Zoom. The cost of training is $1,195.
