Vets Returning Home golf outing slated for Sept. 12

The Oakland County Bar Association Veterans Committee will present its Seventh Annual Golf Outing in support of the Vets Returning Home program on Monday, Sept. 12 at The Links at Crystal Lake golf course at 800 Golf Drive in Pontiac beginning at 9 a.m.

“Last year, the Veterans Committee was able to raise more than $25,000 to address the financial needs of Vets Returning Home as it goes about its mission to serve 44 homeless military veterans at its facility located in Roseville,” said Mike Schloff, vice chair of the Veterans Committee and a past president of the OCBA.

The cost is $125 per player, a price which includes a continental breakfast, 18 holes of golf with a cart, beverages, and an early dinner.

“Golfing is open to all – please join us,” said Schloff, a veteran of the Vietnam War. “All proceeds benefit the Vets Returning Home shelter.”

For more information, call Schloff at (248) 505-3499 or send an e-mail to mdschloff@aol.com.
