Annual fundraising event provides local youth the opportunity to give back
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flint and Genesee County (BBBS) is proud to present their annual Kids Bowl-A-Mania fundraising event! The event will take place Wednesday, August 10th, 2022 from 3:00 PM–8:00 PM at Galaxy Lanes, 2226 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI 48439. This event is open to BBBS Littles, Bigs, and their families.
The fundraiser is a spin-off of Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Bowl For Kids’ Sake fundraiser with a fun twist: the youth served through BBBS get the chance to enjoy a time of bowling, food, and prizes and ignite potential by raising pledges that benefit Flint and Genesee County youth. Sponsorship opportunities are available, including the chance to sponsor a youth to bowl at the event.
A minimum of $20 in pledges earns one game of bowling with free pizza and a drink included. In addition to the game of bowling, shoe rental, pizza, and a drink, there are various pledge prize levels: $35 in pledges earns a sports backpack; $50 or more in pledges earns a gift card; $100 or more earns two (2) gift cards plus an entry into the grand prize drawing; $150 or more earns three (3) gift cards and an entry into the grand prize drawing. The grand prize drawing is for two (2) tickets to DEFY-Trampoline Park. The participant that raises the most pledges will be crowned Highest Pledge Achiever and be awarded a Nintendo Switch!
