Revel has hired Amber Vlietstra as content specialist with responsibilities that include client social media management; copywriting (including brand positioning, product copy, blogs, and news releases); research; and collaborating with the Revel design team to develop compelling marketing copy and concepts.
Vlietstra, who has worked with Revel since March 2021 on a contractor basis, previously taught college composition at Cornerstone University.
She has a bachelor's degree in psychology and English writing and a master's degree in community and clinical counseling.
Vlietstra and her husband, Nick, an earth science teacher at Grand Haven High School and former minor league baseball announcer, live in Norton Shores with their golden retriever, Teddy, and cat, Krieger.
In her spare time, Vlietstra enjoys following major league baseball as well as the US women’s national soccer team, and also is a fan of the National Women’s Soccer League’s Chicago Red Stars.
