The Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Michigan will host “Kayaking the Huron River: Protecting Michigan’s Resources” as an educational event and kayaking adventure on Saturday, August 20, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
All participants will meet at Heavner Canoe Rental, 2775 Garden Rd. in Milford, and kayak down the village of Millford and back. While in Millford, there will be an educational component where the YLS will host a meal time legal learning segment with Erin Mette, an environmental law attorney, regarding her work in environmental justice.
