Lost Railway Museum welcomes new executive director

Kim Conant is the new executive director at the Lost Railway Museum in Grass Lake, and assumed her duties on Oct. 1.

A graduate of Spring Arbor University and with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, with an emphasis in marketing and public relations and a minor in Business Administration, Conant has worked in the not-for-profit sector for 15 years and has 20 years of fundraising experience and event planning. 

For 13 years, she was the president/executive director of the Jackson              

Civil War Society, and led in the organizing of the Jackson Civil War     

Muster.

County Sheriff, Jackson County YMCA, and Michigan Military Heritage Museum.
