U.S. Sens. Debbie Stabenow and Gary Peters announced this week that the Senate has confirmed the nomination of Judge F. Kay Behm to serve as a U.S. District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan.
The Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing in July to consider Behm’s nomination, a month after President Biden selected her.
Behm has served as a judge for the Genesee County Circuit and Probate courts since 2009.
She received her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 1994.
