Foster Swift welcomes two associates
The Grand Rapids office of Foster Swift Collins & Smith welcomes associates Keith T. Brown and Nicholas J. Stock II.
Brown, who received his JD from WMU-Cooley Law School,. joins the firm's Municipal & Public Entity practice group. He previously served as a research attorney and then as a law clerk to Judge Christopher P. Yates for the Michigan Court of Appeals where he drafted opinions and memorandums, advised on motions, and assisted with other administrative matters.
Stock joins the Business & Tax practice group, focusing his practice in the areas of entity selection, corporate tax, international and federal tax law, SALT (State and Local Tax) and other tax disputes. He previously was a tax analyst for several companies including Amazon and DTE Energy.
Stock earned his B.A. and JD from Wayne State University, and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
Draft is elected to Literacy Center board
Varnum labor and employment attorney Ashleigh Draft was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the Literacy Center of West Michigan.
Draft is a summa cum laude graduate of MSU College of Law. She received a master’s degree from Northern Illinois University and undergrad degree from Calvin University.
Draft focuses her practice on labor and employment matters, including workplace investigations, defending clients in grievance arbitrations and resolution of employment-related disputes.
