Applicants sought for MILS board

Applications are now being accepted for the Michigan Indian Legal Services (MILS) Board of Trustees for one vacancy for the remainder of a term that expires next September.

MILS bylaws require that a majority of the board be American Indian. Board members should have an understanding and appreciation for the unique legal problems faced by American Indians.

The MILS board meets on Saturdays, on a minimum quarterly basis, in Traverse City.

To apply, submit a resume and a letter outlining the appliacant’s background and nature of interest in the position by email to Marge Bossenbery at mbossenbery@michbar.org.
