UCHC is seeking proposals from local legal organizations to help implement Detroit’s new Right to Counsel law protecting low-income residents from eviction and foreclosure.
The Detroit-based nonprofit housing organization the United Community Housing Coalition issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) this week from qualified local law firms and individuals to administer and provide legal services to low-income Detroit residents facing eviction or foreclosure.
Utilizing American Rescue Plan (ARPA) funds allocated by the City of Detroit, UCHC seeks to implement a new Right to Counsel program that provides and administers legal representation to covered city residents.
Questions about this RFP are due by Monday, March 20, at 5 p.m. Applications are due Friday, March 24, at 1 p.m.
Please send all correspondence to RTC@uchcdetroit.org.
