Thursday Night Music Club Set April 20
The Thursday Night Music Club presents “Legal Rehab” at the Norton Shores branch of the Muskegon Area District Library. The event is set 7 to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 20.
This Muskegon-based pop/rock musicians perform toe-tapping favorites.
The band features Britta Portenga, fiddle, Roy Portenga, guitar/vocals, Scott White, harmonica/drum/vocals and Pete Buchholz, bass/vocals. Songs on their playlist include hits such as Black Magic Woman by Santana, You Can’t Always Get What You Want by the Rolling Stones, Can’t You See? by the Marshall Tucker Band, Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison, Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffet and more!

Louis Armstrong Tribute Set April 28
Louis Armstrong’s voice was unmistakable, his personality magnetic, and artistry astonishing.
Celebrated trumpeter and vocalist Byron Stripling joins the West Michigan Symphony to perform an electrifying homage, featuring “What a Wonderful World”, “Saint Louis
Blues”, “Ain’t Misbehavin’,” and more. The concert is set 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 28, in the Frauenthal Center.
