The American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) Michigan Chapter recently conducted its annual meeting at the home of ABOTA’s National Board Representative Bob Riley. Among those in attendance were (left to right) Emily Peacock, Pete Peacock, Saginaw County Circuit Court Judge Julie Gafkay, ABOTA Treasurer Deb Freid and David Getto, a founding member and past president of the organization. Also attending the June get-together was Steve Quattlebaum, president of ABOTA National. Founded in 1958, ABOTA is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges.
