Training offered to help judicial candidates with campaigns

As part of its Leadership, Education and Development (LEAD) program, the Great Lakes Political Academy will offer “LEAD for Justice,” a virtual training series on how to run a successful judicial campaign.  

The online training will take place Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.  Dates and topics include:

September 13—Experience of Running for Judicial Office

September 20—Nuts & Bolts of Campaigning

September 27—Judicial Ethics & Compliance

October 4—Judicial Fundraising

October 11—Judicial Appointments & Endorsements

The Great Lakes Political Academy, since its incubation in 2013, has trained more than 250 fellows. The LEAD candidate training program was introduced in 2020 and is open to current and future candidates across the state.
