MAJ to conduct 16th Annual Golf Outing Oct. 16
The Michigan Association for Justice is hosting its 16th Annual Golf Outing on Monday, October 2, at Meadowbrook Country Club, 40941 W. Eight Mile Rd. in Northville.
The outing begins with a noon shotgun start. Lunch and dinner will be provided. The outing is hosted/sponsored by MAJ Past President Brian McKeen and Terry Cochran.

‘Rule 21: Law Practice Succession Planning’ focus of Oct. 5 webinar
The Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan will present a webinar on “Rule 21: Law Practice Succession Planning and the Interim Administrator Program” Thursday, October 5, from 11 a.m. to noon via Zoom.
On June 15, 2022, the Michigan Supreme Court enacted changes to the Rules Concerning the State Bar of Michigan and the Michigan Court Rules. These changes, effective September 1, 2023, involve mandatory disclosures for Michigan’s private practice attorneys. The disclosures include naming an interim administrator and a person with knowledge.
Speaking on these changes for the webinar will be April Alleman with the State Bar of Michigan, Law Practice Succession Planning and the Interim Administrator Program, Succession Planning Program Counsel.

Association of Legal Administrators hosts ‘BP Expo Hoedown’ Sept. 14
The Metropolitan Detroit Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators is gearing up for its Business Partner Expo. The “BP Expo Hoedown” will take place Thursday, September 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Lodge at The Henry Ford/Greenfield Village, 20900 Oakwood Blvd. in Dearborn.
Attendees will enjoy food, door prizes, Model T rides, and a chance to dress up in their country finest. Parking will be available at The Henry Ford security at Eagle Gate.
