'Under the Radar' PBS?show hosts to visit Jackson Sept. 27 for a one-night book signing event

Experience Jackson, Jackson County’s official tourism bureau, welcomes Under the Radar Michigan PBS show hosts, Tom Daldin and Jim Edelman to Jackson for a one-night book signing event.

Their latest book, “Under the Radar Michigan: Yet Another 50: Why Stop Now,” will be available for purchase during a book signing at Jackson Coffee Company, 201 S Mechanic St., 5:30 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, September 27.

Light hors d’oeuvres will be served; and coffee and specialty drinks available for purchase.

Daldin and Edelman will visit Jackson during this time to film a full episode focusing on various attractions as a part of a paid partnership between Experience Jackson and Pure Michigan, airing this fall.

“So much is happening and so many creative, motivated people are energizing Jackson that we can’t wait to get back and fire up our cameras,” said Daldin.

“We’ll tell the world why Jackson is a great place to live, work, play, own a business and raise a family. Oh, and film a TV show … bonus”.

Ten years ago, the duo taped/hosted an episode highlighting Jackson Union Rail Station, West Texas BBQ Company, and Historic Prison Tours of Jackson.

The 2013 episode was shared with Mackinac Island, highlighting both as tourist destinations.
