The City of Jackson Department of Public Works (DPW) is starting the Loose Leaf Collection Program on Monday, Nov. 6 with two rounds of collection in every section of the City through Friday, Dec. 8.

Place loose leaf piles along curbs on the street level, but do not put out leaf piles until 48 hours before scheduled pickup. Residents should remove their vehicles and basketball hoops from streets when leaf collection is due.

In addition to referencing a mailer sent to every address in the City, residents can also:

• Sign up for CodeRED for advanced notice of leaf collection through phone calls, emails and texts.

• Check updates on the Leaf Collection section of cityofjackson.org.

• Follow the City’s Facebook page.

• Call 517-768-6088.

Questions are directed to the DPW at 517-788-4170.

Collection dates may be altered if crews experience slowdowns from poor weather or equipment breakdowns.
