The next Older Adult Advisory Committee (OAAC) of the Macomb County Board of Commissioners led by District 9 Commissioner Barbara Zinner will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 2:00pm.
The OAAC serves as an advisory committee to the Macomb County Board of Commissioners and is comprised of older adults designated to serve by commissioners and representing each commission district as well up to four at-large members.
The committee meets to learn and inquire about challenges, trends, concerns, and opportunities affecting older adults in the County and to communicate with the Commissioner what is learned.
The meeting will be held at the Macomb Township Senior Center, 51210 Alma Drive in Macomb Township.
Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham and Brandon Lewis, director of emergency management and communications for the county, will share their insights on emergency management, public safety and the state of the local community.
Commissioner Joe Sabatini will also join the discussion to provide input on community matters within his district.
