Training offered for judges, teams at state speciality courts

The Michigan Judicial Institute and Problem-Solving Courts (PSC) will conduct a “Fundamentals of Problem-Solving Courts” virtual program on Wednesday, December 6.

This collaborative training presented by SCAO and the Michigan Association of Treatment Court Professionals (MATCP) will focus on the fundamentals of a successful problem-solving court. This training is ideal for new problem-solving court teams and team members, is recommended for more-experienced team members who want a refresher, and is required for judges and coordinators of programs receiving first-year funding through any SCAO problem-solving court grant program. This training will be held virtually via Zoom.

For registration information, contact PSC@courts.mi.gov. Once a registration is approved, attendees will receive a confirmation e-mail.
