The Community Food & Coat Drive for the Jackson Community Food Pantry and the Jackson Interfaith Shelter will run through December 20. Drop donations at any of the following locations:
Jackson County Chamber of Commerce: 134 W. Michigan Ave.
County National Bank: 215 S. Jackson St.
TRUE Community Credit Union: Jackson Branches
Miller Shoe Parlor: 103 W. Michigan Ave.
McKibbin Media Group: 1700 Glenshire Dr.
Harvest Solar: 2218 E. High St.
PostNet: 156 W. Michigan Ave.
Lean Rocket Lab: 133 W. Michigan Ave.
Suggested food items include canned stew, chili, ravioli; canned chicken or tuna; peanut butter; granola or protein bars; cereal; and canned vegetables, fruit or soup.
Suggested non-food items for adults and children include coats (new or used); gloves and hats; new socks; fleece blankets. Please, no comforters or very bulky items.
