The Washtenaw County all-attorney band the Soul Practitioners held its 13th annual holiday fundraiser on December 2 in support of Toys for Tots, Food Gatherers, the Humane Society of Huron Valley, and the Michigan Foster Care Closet. The event raised two barrels (156 pounds) of food and $362 for Food Gatherers; eight large bags of toys and $442 for Toys for Tots and Michigan Foster Care Closet; and 10 large boxes of food, pet toys, blankets, and towels and $432 for the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
