Senators Stabenow and Peters applaud nomination of Robert White to federal judgeship in Michigan’s Eastern District

U.S. Senators Debbie Stabenow and Gary Peters are applauding President Biden’s nomination of Robert White to be U.S. District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan.

White has served as an assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Michigan since 2018.

“Robert White is a highly qualified Assistant U.S. Attorney, and President Biden made the right decision with his nomination. I am confident that Mr. White will be an excellent judge, and look forward to moving his nomination through the Senate confirmation process,” said Stabenow said.

Peters called White “a respected legal mind with extensive experience cracking down on organized crime, both in public and private practice.

White received his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2010 and his B.A. from the University of Michigan in 2007.
