‘The Future of Defense’
The Michigan Defense Trial Counsel (MDTC) conducted its 2023 Winter Meeting, titled “The Future of Defense,” at the Sheraton Detroit Novi. Among those presenting at the meeting were (left to right) Scott Pawlak of Collins Einhorn Farrell; Sarah Chery of Foley, Baron, Metzger, & Juip; Frederick Livingston of Novara, Tesija, & Catenacci; Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Julie Gatti; and Shawn Lewis of Hewson & Van Hellemont. In addition to various program topics presented, the meeting featured a luncheon in which the MDTC/MAJ (Michigan Association for Justice) Respected Advocate Awards and the Best Article Awards were presented.
