Warren man arraigned in the shooting death of his wife

It is alleged that on Friday, February 16, Antonio Askew shot and killed his wife, 34-year-old Eboni Askew, in their Warren home, according to the Macomb County prosecutor’s office.
Askew, 41, is charged with second degree murder and felony firearm.

He was arraigned Tuesday in 37th Warren District Court where District Court Judge Steve Bieda set bond at $500,000 cash/surety and, if released, Askew must wear a GPS tether.  
A probable cuse Hearing is scheduled for March 5

“I will vigorously pursue justice for victims of domestic violence,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido. “We will not tolerate such behavior in our society, and we will work tirelessly to hold perpetrators accountable for their actions.”
