Woman arraigned in Mount Clemens shooting

A Mount Clemens woman was arraigned Monday in connection with the shooting of her biological father.

It is alleged Cheyenne Randolph, 20, shot her biological father multiple times after an argument in their apartment.

The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office said the 66-year-old victim is expected to recover.

Randolph is charged with assault with intent to murder (life felony), felony firearm (two year mandatory felony) and aggravated domestic violence (one year misdemeanor).

Randolph was arraigned in 41B Clinton Township District Court where Magistrate Ryan Zemke set bond at $2 million cash/surety only and the defendant is to have no contact with the witness.

No further court date has been scheduled at this time.

“This incident serves as a reminder of the serious nature of domestic violence and the urgent need for intervention and support for all those affected," said Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.
