Muskegon YMCA launches summer day camp in collaboration with City of Muskegon Parks and Recreation Dept.

The Muskegon YMCA is launching new day camp, running June 17 through August 23. Offered in partnership with the City of Muskegon Parks and Recreation Department, the day camp will be held at McGraft Park, 2204 Wickham Drive in the Glenside neighborhood, and will offer a variety of activities and experiences.

The day camp, running 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, is open to children going into kindergarten through 7th grade. Activities will include arts and crafts, nature hikes, sports and more.

The camp will also include a weekly trip to YMCA Camp Pendalouan, on over 105 acres of oak-pine forest, where kids can enjoy archery, rock wall climbing, boating, swimming, and more.

Registration is now open with limited spots available. The cost is $225/week for City of Muskegon residents, $250/week for non-residents. Financial aid is available during the registration process.

To register, visit muskegonymca.org/daycamp or email  mspeed@muskegonymca.org.
