ABA to host fireside chat on the state of U.S. democracy April 16

The American Bar Association Defending Democracy Initiative and UCLA School of Law’s Safeguarding Democracy Project will host a fireside chat on the state of U.S. democracy with California Attorney General Rob Bonta and Rick Hasen, director of the democracy project and professor of law and political science at UCLA School of Law. ABA Democracy Fellow Stephen Cobb will moderate the discussion.

The American Bar Association Section of State and Local Government Law (SLG) created the Defending Democracy Initiative to focus on state and local election administrators and their work to defend and ensure the democratic process.
