Jackson’s 7th Annual Free Museum Day is set for May 11

Ten participating museums will be open to the public, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, May 11, for Experience Jackson’s 7th Annual Jackson County Free Museum Day.

Some locations will host an “open-house style” reception and self-guided tours, while others feature food trucks, child-friendly activities, and historic demonstrations.

Museums focus on everything from transportation to musical instruments, historical buildings, schoolhouses, log cabins, and fine art. Each museum will offer an on-site prize drawing.
