The Macomb
County Probate Bar Association recently hosted a seminar to take a close
look at how to deal with guns in estate/trust cases. The speaker was
Melissa M. Pearce (center) with Melissa Pearce & Associates, PLC, an
ICLE contributor and speaker in many gun law training seminars. Pearce
is pictured with Macomb County Probate Court Judges Sandra Harrison
(left) and Sara Schimke. The seminar was held at the Clinton Macomb
Main Library in Clinton Township.

The event included the election of a slate of officers to lead the association for the next year. Pictured are new board members Daniel Boroja, Megan Cashen and George Heitmanis. At the top of the MCPBA leadership team are: David Forest, president; Maryanne Deneweth, vice-president, Ryan Reck, treasurer; and Eugene Hamlin, secretary.
