As part of the Greater Galesburg Days festivities, the Galesburg Charleston Library, along with Boy Scout Troop 265, is hosting a movie in the park behind the library on Friday, June 14. This year’s show, which will begin at dusk, is “DC League of Super-Pets,” featuring the voice talents of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Kevin Hart.
New this year are several fun activities before the movie. From 6 to 7:30 p.m., volunteers from the Animal Rescue Project will have a “Puppy Kissing Booth” – unlimited love for only $5 per person.
The fun continues from 7 to 8:30 p.m. with face painting, balloon art, a Galesburg-Charleston Fire Department truck, and outdoor games. Ben’s Pretzels will also be on site starting at 7 p.m. for pre-movie snacks.
