On Saturday, June 8, Michigan’s oldest and largest free legal aid clinic rolled out the red carpet for the 35th annual Law Day pro bono outdoor event hosted at Goodwin Law Center in Birmingham.
Happily welcoming families to the annual event were (l-r) Scott Goodwin and Gary Safir of Scott Goodwin Law PC. Law Day features free legal advice for adults, free carnival fun for the kids (bounce houses, games, surprises), and free hot dogs and ice cream for all. This year’s prizes included BMX-style bikes given away hourly, plus Detroit Tigers tickets. As always, the volunteer staff hands out hundreds of free bicycle safety helmets.
