Varnum LLP has acquired Young, Garcia & Quadrozzi (YGQ), a litigation boutique firm in Southeast Michigan. YGQ’s leaders J. David Garcia and Jaye Quadrozzi will join Varnum’s Birmingham office as partners, along with two business professionals.
Garcia handles numerous multimillion-dollar cases and has extensive trial experience in state and federal courts and arbitration forums. He successfully litigates cases involving contractual and partner/shareholder disputes, misappropriation of trade secrets and other intellectual property claims, accounting malpractice, and other complex commercial disputes. In 2023, he was named by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as a “Go To Lawyer” for business litigation.
He graduated from the University of Michigan, with double-majors in economics and political science, and from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School.
Quadrozzi is a trial lawyer with years of experience trying multimillion-dollar cases in federal and state courts. Her practice includes complex commercial litigation in all areas of business disputes with a particular emphasis in intellectual property, including patent, trade secret, and copyright infringement.
She is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and member of the Michigan, Illinois, and California state bars as well as numerous federal district and appellate courts. She serves on the boards of the Great Lakes Water Authority and the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority.
