Come to Hackley Library, 316 W. Webster, Muskegon, 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 18, and join Gemini DaPoet and Kaizen Kabir for an evening of lyrical expression and creative exploration at our Open Mic Poetry Night.

‘John Steuart Curry: Weathering the Storm’
runs through September 2
The Muskegon Museum of Art hosts “John Steuart Curry: Weathering the Storm,” with Curry’s most iconic masterpieces and a fresh perspective into the life and art of one of America’s most influential artists. The exhibit will run through September 2.

‘Quilts: The Artistry of Home’ Runs

Quilt making is a traditional art form that blends artistry with craft and function. Quilts: The Artistry of Home showcases a selection of quilts from the Michigan State University Collection that were made during the early 20th century, with a focus on the era of Great Depression.
