Association co-hosts ‘Law & Torah’ in Royal Oak
The Jewish Bar Association of Michigan (JBAM) teams up with Partners Detroit. Join us for its first installment of “Law & Torah” on Monday, July 29, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Platform18, 116 E. 7th St. in Royal Oak.
Attendees can pitch their perfect referral to other attorneys and learn about giving preferential treatment to Jewish owned businesses—bring business cards and be prepared to ask the group for the perfect client. Rabbi Leiby Burnham will lecture. Kosher food and drinks will be provided.
Cost for the event is $18. Law students can attend for free and a prayer will be offered to those taking the bar exam the following day. To purchase tickets, visit www.jewishbar.org/events.

The Association of Legal Administrators, Metropolitan Detroit Chapter, will present guest speaker Jessie DaSilva who will discuss “What Millennials & Gen Z Want: Recruit & Retain the Generations” on Wednesday, July 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roadside B&G, 1727 S Telegraph Rd. in Bloomfield Twp.

Wayne State University Law School and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will host a Happy Hour for an end of summer celebration at Urbanrest Brewing Company on Tuesday, August 13, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Wayne Law alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends will gather at Urbanrest Brewing Company located at 2615 Wolcott St. in Ferndale. Free parking is located in the parking lot next to the building and surrounding areas.
