A Senior Safety Seminar is slated for 1 to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Sept, 17, at the Jackson County Department on Aging Human Services Building, Room 005, 1715 Lansing Ave., Jackson. Park in Lot A.
Registration is at 11:30 a.m., with lunch at noon.
Jackson County Undersheriff Christopher Simpson will speak on Safety Awareness, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
To help prevent identity theft, seniors are invited to bring documents to shred after the event. ProShred Security will be on site to dispose of important documents, for free.
