Jackson County Clerk/Register of Deeds Cierra L. Sowle has invested in helping Jackson County residents protect their property by offering a free service that alerts property owners when a document is recorded under their name.
This free online search tool aids in the detection of possible fraudulent activity of recorded documents filed in the Jackson County Register of Deeds Office.
"This an excellent free tool to help Jackson County property owners protect their most valuable assets," said Sowle.
"While this service does not prevent fraud from happening, it does provide a warning system for property owners to take quick action if it is determined that a possible fraud has taken place."
