Before being elected national delegate, Liggins was the chapter’s president.
Previously Quigg served as the chapter’s secretary. He will continue as editor-in-chief of the chapter’s newsletter, Bar & Bench.
Liggins runs a multifaceted practice encompassing construction litigation, property disputes and real estate concerns, as well as business contractual disputes, criminal defense, health care issues and emergency manager matters.
Liggins is recognized by Michigan Super Lawyers for Business Litigation, a recipient of the Honorable George N. Bashara Jr. Distinguished Alumni Award, a recipient of the Gulnar Husain Volunteer Award from Communities in Schools and serves on Western Michigan University’s board of trustees, the State Board of Ethics, is co-chair of the State Bar’s Judicial Qualifications Committee, is on the board of directors for Southwest Michigan First, Greenleaf Trust, Bronson Healthcare Group, Harold and Grace Upjohn Foundation, and is the former board chair for the Douglas Community Association and the Kalamazoo Defender.
Quigg helps clients solve complex civil and criminal problems. Before Warner, he clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and worked for global law firms in Chicago and Washington, D.C.
He is recognized in Best Lawyers “Ones to Watch” Lists for Criminal Defense/White-Collar and Antitrust Law in Grand Rapids and named a Top Lawyer in White-Collar Criminal Defense by Grand Rapids Magazine.
