The Eastern District of Michigan Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, in conjunction with the American College of Trial Lawyers will present an “Advanced Trial Training Program” on Tuesday, November 19, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse, 231 W. Lafayette Blvd. in Detroit
During this program, experienced trials lawyers will use a mock case file to present best practices for each phase of a trail from pre-trial preparation through closing argument. It will also focus on proven strategies to mitigate the occurrence of unplanned challenges that inevitably arise during a trial and provide recommendations to overcome those challenges.
Among the program’s speakers will be Martha Olijnyk, Powell Miller, Mike Turco, Linda Watson, William Horton, and Michael Pitt.
The cost for this full-day program is $99 for FBA members and $175 for non-members and guests. Lunch and a closing reception with colleagues and peers is included. To register, visit https://fbamich.org and click on “calendar.”
