‘Chicago Collects: Jewelry In Perspective’

The Muskegon Museum of Art will host this exhibit of 200 pieces of historical jewelry and objects from the late 19th and early 20th centuries through January 5, 2025.

The exhibition, drawn from public and private collections in Chicago, highlights a 19th century jeweled monstrance, a collection of magnificent tiaras, medals of the French kings, and much more. Borrowed from the Richard H. Driehaus Collection, the Driehaus Museum, and other private collections in Chicago, much of the rare jewelry has never been on display for the public to see.
