Help sought for State Bar
Lawyer Referral Service
The State Bar of Michigan’s Lawyer Referral Service is dedicated to connecting those seeking legal representation with the counsel they need, but to fulfill that mission, they need more Michigan attorneys to participate.
Currently, the demand for attorneys outweighs the number of those participating in the Lawyer Referral Service (LRS) leaving many clients unmatched with a lawyer who can help them.
Once an attorney signs up to become a panel member, LRS will begin sending them emails whenever they receive an inquiry from a client match.
Attorneys will also have access to an online portal where they can track referrals. Visit michbar.org/lrs for additional information or contact Panel Coordinator Monique Smith at 517-346-6323 or msmith@michbar.org.
