In celebration of Black History Month, the D. Augustus Straker Bar Association hosted the 2nd Annual Black Party on Friday, Feb. 25, at Beans and Cornbread in Southfield.
Donations were taken at the event to support the grassroots, non-profit organization Save Kids of Incarcerated Parents. S.K.I.P. provides monthly programs to children who have a parent who is or was incarcerated.
