Baseball Diamond

A 1957 photo of Jackie Robinson, the late Brooklyn Dodger star who broke the color barrier in Major League Baseball, is among the treasured keepsakes belonging to Judge Damon J. Keith of the U.S. Court of Appeals. The photo of Robinson (left) and Keith was taken at Detroit’s old Gotham Hotel in 1957, the year that the Hall of Fame great retired from baseball after a sterling 10-year career.
