The Oakland County Bar Association’s Juvenile Law Committee began its Fundamentals of Juvenile Law – Year 9 brown bag lunch lecture series with a look at “In re Sanders and Its Implications” on Thursday, Feb. 12, at the Oakland County Bar Center in Bloomfield Hills. Lecture moderator Melinda Deel (left) of Melinda N. Deel PLLC was pleased to present guest speaker Tracy E. Green (right), Legal Services director for Detroit Center for Family Advocacy U-M. “I’m going to be speaking about the practical implications of the In re Sanders decision which was a pretty monumental child welfare decision that was issued by the Michigan Supreme Court in 2014,” Green said.
