'Which Case, Which Court'

The Oakland County Bar Association presented “Which Case, Which Court: District, Circuit, or Federal?” on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at the OCBA offices in Bloomfield Hills. This seminar ­provided an overview of common criminal charges and which court should properly oversee the case. In addition, the speakers offered practice pointers on how to ensure a client’s case is heard in the proper court. Speaking at the seminar were Layne Sakwa of Fried, Saperstein, Sakwa PCand Margaret Scott of Secrest Wardle.
